Random rock song

Can anybody tell me the name of this song and who sings it? It was def sung by a male voice in a rock band, sounded kinda along the lines of POD. The lyrics in the chorus went like "I just wanted to say, that I'm sorry for the way, that I am..." That's all I can remember. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
