Pop song, can't remember name!

There was this one music video I saw a while ago...it had this girl singing, I think she had blonde hair. It was on MTV so I think it used to be popular?

The song was about pursuing your desires or something, and at the very end of the song the singer was in an elevator and this guy who had been "eyeing" her for a while decided to go in and meet her. And that was the end of the song/video...
