Lincoln Launch Event

Here we go again with these.

It's the newest ad that shows one of their SUV's "taking off" on a lighted runway, the music sounds like a cover of "Don't Fear the Reaper"

And no it's not Major Tom, Space Oddity, Under the Milky Way or Burning for You.

Any ideas?

ok I found a page on their website which contains many ads. The one at the very bottom may be the one you saw. I know the song is a cover of Twilight Zone by Golden Earring and is performed by CSS.

Just like the Lincoln Wishlist Sales Event commercial, the information we have gotten is that the "Driver's Seat" cover was made just for the Lincoln ads by (as yet) unnamed ad production musicians.

The song is "Drivers Seat" by Sniff"n The Tears. "Driver's Seat" is perhaps the most popular song by British new wave band Sniff'n The Tears. It was released in 1978 and reached #15 in the Billboard Hot 100 Chart in the US.
