Kingsford Charcoal

1. it's not the song played at the end of dazed and confused. (that song, by the way, is foghat's "slow ride"... this isnt even close).
2. it's definitely not lynyrd skynyrd or any variation of "tuesday's gone" or any skynyrd song.
3. "soulshine" by the allman brothers band seems to be the best likelihood. it sounds like it might be a variation of the song redone specifically for the commercial.

This is probably a little more difficult but does anyone know of the artist behind the new Kingsford (the bbq charcoal company) commercial?

It starts out with the camera going through a crowd of tailgate partyers who are all cooking up a bbq. At the end of the commercial the camera pulls out and you can see that they're all tailgating on a highway. The words, "Slow grill", appears.
Am I the only one who knows of "Pearl Jam-Yellow Ledbetter". That's the song from the Kingsford highway commercial. Im my opinion, the greatest guitar riff ever created!

Good call it is Colin James - Speechless, the riff is played through out the song slowly in the verses but is more predominant in the chorus at around 1minute 30seconds in and repeats through at the song that way

And yet, it's not *actuallly* "Speechless" but "derived from Speechless". It's definitely based on the main riff but it's not the same thing. If you listen to them side by side, you'll see that immediately.

Maybe Colin re-recorded it for Kingsford, but it's more likely that it's a studio gunslinger guitarist.
