JCPenney "Calendar"

Am I just mishearing the Forever Thursdays, or is this really a new commercial?
I *believe* the lyrics start out with "today's the day", but don't quote me.

you guys rock!! i had heard this commercial a few times. always so interested in the song, it would be over before i realized i hadn't noticed the product or company, lol!
Am i the only one that obsesses about songs? i hear it, i love it, i have to have it!!! thank goodness for itunes!!!!

Thank you thank you.

Ok here is the story. The song "How can it be" recorded by Forever Thursday was written by Elliot Wheeler and sung by Melanie Horsnell. J C Penney picked up the song for their Spring Campaign. The original song in full is at
http://www.myspace.com/foreverthursdaymusic
and you can message them there. They have had over 20,000 hits since the song was released. You can buy it on USA and Australian itunes.

Stay tuned for more on Forever Thursday....

Also Melanie has her own album out with self penned songs also on itunes Australia and USA and various other sites.

or even

Both Melanie Horsnell and Forever Thursday are unsigned indie. Melanie's album was self released on her own label with distribution via MGM (for independent artists in aussie). She has toured Australia a number of times and is about to embark on a tour with Josh Pyke. She also has toured Europe three times and her album was Album of the month on Radio France.

What would be terrific is if all you fans out there started requesting the music on radio, internet etc starting with "How can it be" and lets see if people power can make this happen.

There's a new JC Penny commerical airing currently and it ends with a calendar of all the months. The song in the background is a girl singing and shes singing something like... "i say, and so say i." does anyone know what some this is? Somebody please help me! I really want this song!

Hopelessly out of date but there was a Target ad a while ago with a female lyricist and the song ended with 'these things live in me'. Any ideas to the tune?
