First, I hate NSync, and by good songs I mean when they sing Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out, Green Day - American Idiot, and Modest Mouse - Float On.

This is Kidz Bop (Wikipedia). Basically it is the scum and bottom of the music universe if you even classify it as music. Its sounds more like a person taking a dump combined with a baby crying. You can hear samples here.

its a bunch of kids that sing the popular verses or chorus of a song, while the original singers sing the rest (most definitely on recording)...the legalities are apparently up in the air
