Does anyone know where I would be able to find the soundtrack to the spanish movie Valentin or if one even exists?

Hmmm...well I guess I will have to wait longer than I expected on a reply, but if anyone was wondering about the music in the trailer, the last song by Rachel Portman and it's called "Vianne Sets Up Shop" from the Chocolat soundtrack.

Doesn't seem to be a soundtrack album or even a soundtrack listing.

I did discover that the movie features a couple of songs by ALMENDRA - 'Color Humano' & 'Laura Va', both available on the album Almendra.

In addition, there a song by LA JOVEN GUARDIA - 'El Extraño Del Pelo Largo'.

Over 12 years after you posted this, I happened to see the film VALENTIN, really wanted to get two of the songs from the soundtrack, and here you have them both listed. Bless the internet and old fashioned chat forums. Thank you Sophist!
