The commercial for the online university aired on January 20 during Saturday Night Live and I don't know the artist who did the music for the commercial or the song title. I would love any info.

If it is the same commercial I saw, not on Saturday Night Live, it is part of a song called "The Bleeding Heart Show" by The New Pornographers, on their album "Twin Cinema".

I just saw the song you're talking about on Youtube, but that's not it. I've never heard of that song before. the commercial that i'm talking about is probably new, but the music is pretty cool though, i wish someone knew it.

I just happened to be looking for another song and found this thread. I viewed the youtube link and that is indeed The New Pornographers - The Bleeding Heart Show. As with the original commercial they only cut in at the Neko Case part of the song. (2min 40sec for you nerds, like me, out there.)
