Mostly just the stuff I already put up there is third wave ska, Sublime, No Doubt (anything), Reel Big Fish, Operation Ivy, Smash Mouth (not my favorite though), Rancid (Time Bomb is SOOO GOOD!) Less Than Jake, The Urge ( Jump Right In ), and Save Ferris.

true. discerning music lovers will look for different qualities in music. an excellent oppurtunity to provide a variety of different kinds of music, instead of being exclusively a ska thread, wouldn't you agree? we usually can't keep on topic anyways.

This ^ does NOT say "Hey, I know you've expressed an interest in expanding your musical repertoire into a new genre, and I would like to introduce you to another genre while you're in the mood for something different."

This says "Hey, I'm a music snob and if I don't like a type of music, then I don't think anyone should like a type of music."

He asked for SKA. Adding your own two cents is just jim fuckin dandy because that's what we do here, but he didn't ask for your assy smirking remarks about his musical interests. Clearly, for the person who created it, the thread is already going to some good use.

lighten up a little bit. no matter how it might appear to you, i wasn't dead serious. i didn't intend on personally attacking him. remember how i said different people like different things? it's OK to say what i like and don't like, especially in the general discussion area. and i just happened to have found that link a minute or two before i posted it, but obviously next time i'll have to do a survey as to which thread i can talk in to decrease the amount of hurt feelings
