For the '90 episode, the college radio hit was a song called "the summer." It was really laid back with the lyrics, what else, "the summer..."

Anyway, does anyone know the name of the group who performs it? I looked on VH1.com and couldn't find it. Thanks.

the song has to be pretty old... since it was in the 1990 episode, so it was probably came out that year

and the music isn't that loud, acoutic guitars maybe... and male vocals

lo and behold after much searching on the vh1 forums i have found the answer to ya'r question :lol: it's called "the summer" by "yo la tengo"
