The O.C. Theme Remix? in s03e02

In the Last episode s03e02 of The O.C. they played the theme California in the last minute or so, But it wasn't the normal version it was slower and sounded more like a oldies song anybody know what version it is? Thanks!

It's an acoustic version of 'California' by PHANTOM PLANET.

Rumours are that it will be included on 'The OC: Mix 5' which is due for release in November.
