I havent seen the movie yet but I have listened to the soundtrack and a song number 10 by Don Omar Featuring Tego Calderon called Bandaleros kind of has the sound you are describing.

the song has this high pitched girl singing the chorus and its played throughout but I can definitively say that it was played in the ending scene right before they revealed Vin Diesel.

ur question about Tokyo Drift with the opening credits:

Does anyone know that song in the beginning credits of the fast and furious: tokyo drift when the main guy (Sean) is going through the metal detectors and it shows him at school? this song sounded pretty cool and i cant find it anywhere! it sounded kind of middle eastern indian sort of or maybe im wrong but it was definately in the begininng credits and it was the first song of the movie. if anyone can help i'd appreciate it. thx!

The song is called "Six Days (Remix)" and is by DJ Shadow and Mos Def

Its called: "Hey Mami" by "Fannypack"

Are you sure this is right one? It sounded like a little different beat....

Oh well, I've got a question of my own

We've covered the Neela's Drifting part, and the "parting of the crowd" thing is still up in the air
they both kind of sound the same to me
But there's also a similar sounding track that plays whenever anybody (especially Han) says something deep and profound.

Like when Brian and Han talk, while the soccer game is going on.

This track also plays when they go out cruising in the orange and black RX-7 and they are talking about the purpose of a race.
(Where the cops don't chase them because they're above 180 k)

There's also a very catchy electronic piece that plays here?
Any help in that area would be appreciated as well.
