Hi everyone,

I was watching Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures, a documentary about his career, on television the other day. During the introduction, there is a very quick newspaper montage that shows how the media describes him as an eccentric director and such. In the background is a sclassical string orchestra piece that is very captivating. I've heard it before, but I just couldn't put my finger on its name. If anybody could help me out, it'd be highly appreciated. Thanks!

I was going through my classical music collection and accidentally came across the music I was asking about: it's from The Thieving Magpie by Rossini. The musical segment in question starts at around 7-minute mark of the piece.
