This week, the highly anticpated extended Spider-Man 2 trailer premiered during NBC's The Apprentice. Sporting more music tracks than Doc Ock has tentacles, the ad is a good example of the different kinds of sources used for trailer music - none of which being the original Spider-Man soundtrack. For Spiderman 2, the trailer music includes pieces of Adam Freeland's "Burn the Clock", Celldweller's "Switchback", clips from The Last Samurai (the track "Ronin") and Plunkett & Macleane (the track "Hanging") soundtracks, and an original music cue from the production music service Immediate Music.
