Heard this song at work a few times (why, WHY didn't I go back and look!? The stereo SHOWS the title/artist! :duh: :banghead: ) and now it's driving me *NUTS*!
I want to post the lyrics on my wall.
The song is about following your dreams, and the excerpts I remember go as follows:
(It's kind of a "New Country/NashPop" vibe, but closer to alterna-pop from there.)
Chorus:

Hi there, here's some help from behind the planet:
The song is performed by Dustin Evans (CD: "Good Ol' Days To Come" / Track #6) and the title is simply "What If".
I had that on a minidisk-recording made on a vacation to the US and there was a lot of trouble finding the title for editing the disk. So now both of us are happy.
