Hi all,

I'm watching the Olympics on NBC in the US. During lulls in the women's beach volleyball events, the DJ often plays a chant/anthem that says, "Come on, come on. Come on, Come on. Come on, Come on, come on, come on." And then the players resume play and the music cuts out.

The music sounds like a Joan Jett anthem, in the spirit of "Do You Wanna Touch Me." I'm pretty sure that it's not The Von Bondies "C'mon, C'mon" referenced in this thread: http://adtunes.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5175, but I can only catch a snippet of that song on Napster, iTunes or Amazon. The "come on" is in a totally different cadence.

So, does anyone know which song I've described?

O.k., found it.

The song is called "I'm the Leader of the Gang."

Originally, it was done by Gary Glitter, he of the "Rock and Roll, Pt. 2" fame. Hence, the anthem feel.

And the version I think I've been hearing is by Girlschool. Hence the Joan Jett feel.

My apologies if anyone was researching it.
