I saw that this morning and I was all confused

New York, 2031:
A father and his son are walking along the former site of the World Trade Center. The father stops and sighs, "To think that at one time here on this very lot stood the Twin Towers."
The son looks at his father and asks, "Daddy, what were the Twin Towers?"
"Son," the father replies, "the Twin Towers were two financial buildings with tens of thousands of occupants that towered hundreds of feet above the New York skyline. But 30 years ago, some terrorists destroyed the buildings."
The boy, looking confused, then asks, "Daddy, what are terrorists?"

What do you people think is the most logical reason for the London explosions? 2012 Olympics? terrorists? AL QUEDA?! or just some angry drunk guys?!?!?! Why is all this happening.

Maaaan. What a loaded question with a complicated answer. It's Al Qaeda.
The logic behind it is flawed though. The bottom line is that they think that acts of terrorism will break the will of the general population to continue in the current conflict. They intend to turn us against our governments with their actions. Plus it's all they've got.
It's flawed because they don't understand the way we think any more than we understand them. They fail to realize that the half of us that are against our involvement in any conflict are only likely to change our minds if for no other reason than we tend to get tired of this shit and cease to care who started it. We eventually cease to care who's right and who's wrong and we get out the BIG fly swater. At some point it becomes about ending it at any cost and God help them when their actions finally bring the majority to that way of thinking.
As far as why this is going on you'd have to go way back to the end of WWII to understand how the U.S. and UK have manipulated things in the middle east to get any idea of the whole picture.

Yeah. Well like I said a friend of mine heard a confirmation about the terrorists. Some kind of European group from Al Queda or something. Now America's alert level is orange ... what's next?! What will they do to the US. I asked my friend: "Don't you ever feel as if WWIII has already started?" we both said yes to that. This WILL continue for a long time, there'll be some kind of other explosion by the end of this month. At least I FEAR that'll happen.
