That ^ reminds me of that part in Austin Powers when Michael McDonald is all NOOOOOO!!! cause there's a steamroller inching towards him, and then you see it's like a half a mile away. :lol:

I saw a similar thing after the election. It was a chart of the states and how much money the gov't gives the states. All the red states received more federal funding.

Yeah. I live in Bakersfield now. I'll be on this new project for at least a year. Probably longer. Bakersfield is as close to halfway between the two bases at which I'll be working as I can get and even though I'll have long commutes I'll be in my own bed most nights. Or days in my case.

Well thanks. I've been here more than a month. Finding time to be here when the utilities people want to come and getting unpacked are the real challenges. I just got a phone line for the house yesterday and I have no idea when I'll get around to cable. <_<

I hear ya. We're in the process of moving as well. I remember last time we moved I literally had to take a couple vacation days from work just to call all the companies and be here for them to set everything up. <_< And of course they give you the whole "we will be there sometime between 8am and 5 pm." Yeah, thanks. :angry:

We were going to disconnect a second phone line we aren't using anymore, and since we have DSL the Internet would be shut down during the process... And they told us that we would be without the net for two weeks! :lol: So, 2nd useless phone line it is then.
