well, i don't know. i don't see what benefit such a law brings. and it makes a lot of immigrants nervous.

a West Wing character said it more eloquently than I ever could:

Well, I don't think it's intended to make anyone nervous and it's definately not against those that are here from other countries. In fact, I think that our schools should start teaching our children a second language in elementary. But, the problem seems to lie with those that are illegally here.
