I love cupcakes.

Uh I have a stupid question. Why are there explosions in mines? Why is there methane down there? Is it from the equipment used to mine the coal? Or what, I don't get the explosions and the people dying and they get trapped and the oxygen regulators don't work and it keeps happening and nothing changes. I almost don't care anymore.

I'm probably way wrong on this but I always thought that the methane was already there. Like I know that there is methane gas under ground in lots of places like in the ocean is one and I think the mines have it there as well. And I think once they get trapped there's only so much oxygen left because it's running out and filling up with more methane gas. I unno, just my guess on it.
