Need Heavy and Emo. Violins

Hello. I was enjoying a track from the Unbreakable soundtrack by James Newton Howard, its called 'Visions', and about a minute before the end of the piece, the strings become very heavy and emotional and I was mesmorized by the sounds. I was hoping if anyone could give me any suggestions on Violin pieces similiar to this one?

Check out Apocalyptica. They play a lot of metal/rock songs with nothing but cellos and violins. They mostly do Metallica, but they also do some Tool and other bands as well.

Apocalyptica was the first thing that came to my mind as well.

While it's not exactly what you're looking for The Gotan Project has some good instrumental strings. Their stuff has more of a latin-jazz influence.

One of my favorite instrumental string songs is "Bolero" from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack (The song that plays during the credits at the end). It's very dramatic, and is just....it's good. :lol:

The bolero song is crazy. Sorry I don't like it. I like some of the other tracks in the movie but not that one. Thank you though for your suggestions.
