MLB baseball preseason on TBS

Hello everyone,

I need your help with this:

I was watching the commercial spot from TBS MLB which I heard a song track in the background. The spot is on the tbs baseball preseason where everyone is on a bandwagon to which it was named from the actors in a truck asking what is going on.

The music comes from a 70s band to which the lyrics mentioned: 'so hard together' ... 'do you hear the song of thunder?'... 'together with the man or band'. I know it comes from a group in the 70s and would like to know the name of the song and the band.

I appreciated any help in this matter, still scratching my mind because I love the song itself. Thanks
