(myyearbook.com) "Like most video games these days, Guitar Hero 5 aims to provide a more authentic experience for its fans. That means using master tracks, pristine graphics and offering playable characters that no other game has. But when one of those playable characters is a tortured musician who took his own life to avoid being part of a massive marketing monster like Guitar Hero, we have to wonder: have we gone too far?
Kurt Cobain’s unlockable character looks pretty much as you would expect him to in pixilated form, except instead of only crooning Nirvana songs, you can use him to play everything from Bon Jovi to Spacehog. Does Kurt roll over in his grave every time someone makes his character play “Bring the Noise”? Probably. Does anyone over at Activision care? Probably not."
