Hello,

Anyone know what piece is played by the school band in 1959 when the time capsule is buried? I have heard that piece before, but I have never been able to find it.

Lot's of thanks if anyone can help me...sorry but I haven't been able to find a video link.

It seems very similar to Robert Duncan's "Chosen" or "The Final Fight" from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but it's not quite the same.

It's from Holst's THE PLANETS, not sure which movement, but if I recall it's "Jupiter".

I guess I haven't listened to "The Planets" completely in many years. Dusted off that old CD...and there it was.

Does any know the another classical music when Cage is sitting down listening at his home and in the car at the end? I thnk it is Beethoven?What movement?

Yes, Beethoven. It's Symphony No. 7, specifically the movement called:

Symphony No.7 in A major Op.92 : II Allegretto
