Knorr Soup Commercial from 60's

There was a song on Knorr Soup commercials in the 60's that I loved. The lyrics were "faraway places with strange sounding names" to a nice tune. The company does not have its records of that commercial period I was told. But I would love to know what it was.

I think the song that you are referring to is called 'Faraway Places' and was written by JOAN WHITNEY & ALEX KRAMER in 1948.

It has been recorded by various artists over the years and I have no idea whose version was used in the Knorr commercial.

However, probably the best-known rendition is by PERRY COMO.
