This sounds a lot like one of the singers from Veruca Salt, but I've never heard this song before. It may be either Louise Post or Nina Gordon as a soloist, but I googled the lyrics and couldn't find that song.

Anyone know?

No, it's not that song. JC Penney has a bunch of ads out right now.

I think the song is sung by Anna Waronker. She has solo work out, and she was the lead singer in That Dog. She has a pretty recognizable voice, and this definitely sounds like her. It's driving me nuts though, because I can't find ANY info on it.

i KNEW it was her! my roommate and i could recognize her voice anywhere
