is seen this commercial on TV Land channel i believe its a commercial for TV Land the lyrics to the name of the song im looking for if its even a song i dont know are as follows "its alright to cry its alright to cry it might make you feel better" anybody have any ideas? thank you

"It's Alright to Cry" by Carol Hall. Also by Rosey Grier. The song was a "big hit" for Grier.

If I may just clarify, a bit. :huh: Carol Hall wrote "It's All Right to Cry" - I don't think she ever recorded it. Rosey Grier was chosen to sing it for the 1972 album "Free to be You and Me" based on his tough guy profession and his less than macho hobbies. As for the ad, I've only heard it once (half asleep) but I'm reasonably sure it's not the original recording. I did find a more current one by Darius Rucker on but I still can't say if it's the one they used for the ad.
