I'm still trying to figure it out. As I said before, I'm not sure about the lyrics, including the name suzie. I think it might be by the Beatles.

It's not Suzie Q, and it's not Wake up, little Suzie, but I think it's from that era.

I found it. It's actually "Hang on Sloopy" by the McCoys. I found it by googling beatles and "hang on".

Me too!! It's by The Presidents of the United States. I love their album with Dunebuggy and Peaches on it. It brings back memories of when I first got my driver's license...crusin' to Lump!!!!
