Gritty (bluesy) guitar-heavy songs

Hello.

I don't know why ...
But lately I've had a hankering for songs that feature gritty almost-bluesy souding guitar riffs ...

A couple of tunes pop into mind immediately ...

Chris Isaak - "Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing" - CD: Eyes Wide Shut OST
Tommy James and the Shondells - "Draggin' The Line"

Then there's some song by ZZ Top (I believe) that I hear now and then on classic rock radio stations that would fit the bill ... but I don't know the name ...

Sort of in the vein of what I'm after ...
Sugarloaf - "Green-Eyed Lady"
Heart - "Barracuda"; "Magic Man"

What other songs could you good folks of AdTunes suggest for me to satisfy my gritty guitar craving?

so far my favorite is Bob Log - Log Bomb and a bunch of songs by R.L. Burnside

ya just click on the artists name to the left, then click on the picture of the album(s) and a page comes up where you right click on specific song titles and save target as. have fun!



oh and check out The Sonics - Have Love Will Travel. (think i heard bout this tune right here on this site) :wub:

Listening to a lot of these songs ... I too feel an overwhelming desire to hit up some poolhall ... dark and dingy ... sweaty ... drinking my *** off and taking a long drag on a cig (hehe, even though I don't even smoke ... go figure!) ... :lol: :lol:
