Hi All!
I've been seeing a lot of History Channel's commercial with excerpts from Walt Whitman's "Song Of the Open Road." There are clips from Vikings, Swamp People, Top Gear, Ice Road Truckers and lots of other shows. I've hunted high and low to find the music that's in the background, but I'm coming up empty. Any help is appreciated!

Yeah I saw the commercial for the first time today and knew the music sounded familiar but couldn't place it at first. It's the same music used in the X-Men Days of Future Past trailer. It's by John Murphy, off the Sunshine movie soundtrack - "Adagio in D Minor" and it's been used in several movies/commercials. (John Murphy Sunshine, Hans Zimmer Time Inception, Hans Zimmer Thin red line (journey to the line), Fired Earth Music Evermore, Kickass big daddy's death, Kickass Strobe, (and to a lesser degree many pieces from The Last Samurai, especially) 'A way of life', 'Taken' and 'a small measure of peace'. All of the above sound alike/much the same/brilliant.)
