Not voting is downright un-American! <_<  :!@#$:

Non voters should be deported!

Seriously, much of the so-called negativity is due to the media coverage itself. It's a huge part of the calculus by the those, i.e. The MAN, who don't want us to vote.

Thomas Jefferson's adversaries started viscious rumors about him (which turned out to be true BTW) concerning why the slave children of his plantation had a striking resemblance to him. And what did TJ's supporters do? They literally murdered the guy who was starting the rumors. In short, the negativity of today's elections are nothing compared to what went on in the past, the supposedly good ol' days of Americana.

The thing about media coverage of the elections is that despite wall-to-wall, 24/7 coverage on CNN, MSNBC, FOX, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNBC, CNN-HN, CNN-Int, et al, the actual coverage is really just beating-around-the-bush & going-thru-the-motions scams. They don't cover the issues at all, just the negativity and horse race type garbage, i.e. who's ahead in the polls and so on...

When people are informed, they are engaged. Conversely, when people are uninformed, they disengaged. Translation: They don't vote. Even worse, when they are shown negative ads and negative coverage of said negative ads deliberately designed to magnify the negativity 10 fold, they disengage even further. Believe it or not, these things are very well known, used and constantly researched, (e.g. polling, focussed grouped, etc.).

Just ask yourself:

1. Why did Haliburton get no bid contracts?

2. Why did the price of gas drop by a buck just 2 months before the election? Can you imagine the level of anger in the public had it been still over $3 a gallon on Nov. 7?

3. Why are utility bills going up much faster than inflation? You can't blame Enron on forces outside the US like they try to with the case of the price of gas going up sky high.

4. Why do practically all other countries that buy American Rx drugs get it cheaper than Americans who buy it here in America? Few people know that the Rx corporations don't do jack: The vast majority of discoveries are done at the NIH (a multi-BILLION dollar taxpayer funded gov. research facility) and throughout America's universities, many of which are public. Of course, private institutions like Harvard Med School get tons of public financing, i.e. multimillion dollar research grants, financial aid, guaranteed student loans backed by the taxpayer, etc.

5. Why did the Reagan admin sell WMD's to Saddam's Iraq in the 1980's? Why did they block UN condemnation of Saddam when he gassed the Kurds? Why did the Reagan-Bush Admin give $2 BILLION dollars to help arm & train Saudi freedom fighters in Afghanistan during the 1980's?!? I'm talkin' bout Osama bin Krazay here!#@$@!#!@!

6. Why is there so much coverage of crime on TV when crime is at an all time low?!? One can make a good case that crime now in the US is the lowest ever!

The public doesn't know anything about this type of stuff. They are deliberately kept uninformed on a steady diet of negativity: negative political coverage of the campaigns, and the uber negative coverage of crime, namely white victims and minority criminals.

Blood leads, disease sells and control equals power.

So have we decided where that new country we're gonna start is gonna be? :woo:

How 'bout Kauai's Na Pali coast? Look at all the perks:

1. They've already got universal health care.
2. Many Hollywood movies are shot here. Who knows, maybe we'll get to see Tomcat or other celebs as they come to shoot their blockbuster films.
3. And look at how beautiful it is!!!!
a. Na Pali cliffs jutting out like eternal guardians.
b. Some hiker on the Kalalau Trail on the Na Pali Coast.
c. Kalalau Valley at the end of the Na Pali Coast.
d. Virtual tour of Kauai. Click on the Kalalau Trail & the Kalalau Lookout (Kalalau Valley) icons.

Meh. Arizona's bigger, more land area once Operation: Reef is underway.
