For the record, if you want to view an ad that you saw on youtube (this only works on the app as far as I am aware), tap your account profile in the top right, then settings > history and privacy > manage all activity. It should show a list of all videos and ads that you've seen. The ads are often unlisted and will have unusual names, such as the 'Paid 2A Motion Hor' of the video that I linked.
