It was during the time when BK commercials were white text on a black background, so I know it's at least from early this decade.

It was a slow song, and it sounded like it was from the 70's. The only line that they really said sounded like "hail the sunshine", which they repeated about five times in the commercial before it ended, which I'm guessing they used 'cause of the whole eating breakfast thing. I assumed that by sunshine, it was by KC and the Sunshine Band, but that got me nowhere, and the line "hail the sunshine" is in like fifty different songs, or that's not what they were saying and I'm bad at listening to words in music.

It's been bugging me for a long time now, so if anyone can help me it'd be great.

Could it be the song "Sunshine" from that era's musical "Hair"?

Let the sunshine
Let the sunshine in
The sunshine in.....

Used in many ads through the years.

Wow, that's the song ^^ Now years of nagging in the back of my head are finally gone. Thanks!
