Hey, on Vh1's rock and roll hall of fame AD, they played a clip of a blondie song. It kinda sounds like strict machine, by gold frapp( at least the beginning)

Know the song name?? this has been driving me crazy for over a year..but looked for it half assed...

I haven't seen the commercial you're talking about, but the beat you described (the beginning of "Strict Machine") immediately made me think of Blondie's "Call Me". Try that. It's a bit different, but that's the only Blondie song that I know (out of what, three of four?) that sounds vaguely like that.
