Australian Army advert

Hi,

I have been trying to find out who sings this song for ages, no-one seems to know, but maybe someone here may know, here's hoping.

The ad is currently running on Australian TV, it is for recruitment to the Army. The ad features music most of the way through and then towards the end there is some singing. It sounds to me like Ron Peno (from Died Pretty, Aussie band from the 80's and 90's) so it could be Died Pretty, but I don't recognise the tune and I have searched their lyrics but no luck.

Thanks farbeyond... from the look of those lyrics it would appear that the song was written specifically for the ad, not a borrowed song from someone's catalogue. Other info I've turned up seems to agree.... still no luck on who is the singer or band or where I can get a copy with reasonable fidelity....
