What is the music used in the 2010 MBA's TV ad?!

Best I could do with Shazam (took almost 10 tries to get a proper tag because of voice over on the commercial) is either Sea of Glass by Tom Middleton or Metamorphosis One by Philip Glass. I believe Sea of Glass is based on Philip GLASS' piece.

However, listening to both songs in full, neither of them is strictly a piano solo like the MBA TV ad. The closest tune is Sea of Glass, but there are other background instruments involved.

I wonder if Apple got a special 30-second recording made of the song just for them with just piano.

Anyone?

There is a Philip Glass album called 'Solo Piano'.

“Metamorphosis One”

Numbers one and two use themes from Glass’s soundtrack to the acclaimed Errol Morris film “The Thin Blue Line”, which depicts the true story of a man’s wrongful conviction for the murder of a Dallas police officer.

I'm also very curious about the solo piano(s) in this new Apple ad. I did manage to find this after some googling about:

So there's a chance that Alan Steinberger is the artist responsible.

However, I've not been able to locate the work itself anywhere online, nor verify that Alan tweeted about the same ad that we're talking about...

I was indeed the pianist, but credit for the composition goes to a young chap named Brad Breeck at Mophonics http://www.mophonics.com/

For anyone interested, we recorded on a Yamaha C7 at Westlake Studio B in West Hollywood, Calif. I remember seeing a pair of Royers in mid-side configuration, plus a pair condensers (sorry, don't remember which.)

We recorded three versions of the spot, but none was more than 30", sorry.

Nice sleuthing. Even my friends ignored that tweet.
