Pretty good. The first few chapters are a little but once you get used to the characters, it picks up. It's one of those quick summer reads.

That's the only thing I've thought of but I hesitate on that because they could have put an all black dog but they chose the doberman instead. Maybe I'm just looking too much into it.

I also don't get the foot.
