Winter Sleepers

I have been looking for the music for Thom Tykwer's film Winter Sleepers for years now. Has anyone seen a copy of it or know where I could obtain some of the music from the film? I think it is beautiful especially the music in the bar where they are dancing.

A soundtrack was released, actually, and is availible through Amazon's German affiliate (amazon.de), right here.
It's listed in what we would call the "new and used" section (Anbieter & Preisvergleich in German), but it's "New". Unfortunately, it's about EUR 120,000 ($150 American). I did all of my searching using the German title, Winterschläfer. Also, keep an eye out on Germany's Ebay site. It may pop up periodically. Hope this helps.

What is the German word for 'bootleg'?

I don't speak German, but according to Babelfish, a bootleg is a "Raubkopie" (roughly meaning "Pirat Copy").
