the cleaner/from the hills to the city-same song

I'm trying to find a song that was featured in the cleaner pilot episode. it was playing when benjamin bratt found his friend dead. it was also played on from the hills to the city after whitney falls on the stairs.

the lyrics go something like:
" i can see upon the horizon. i'm waiting for my new life to begin."
