I don think that any of these are it. Were these on the commercial? It was the fox commercial that first advertised that show "For Life" (or something like that) then advertised the first episode of the new season of the O.C.....

"Bandages" by Hot Hot Heat. Came out a few summers ago, and that's the only song I've heard playing in all of the OC promos.
