I heard a techno remix of The Hush Sound's "Wine Red".

But I am curious, is this an independent thing, or is there an official The Hush Sound remix CD?

There isn't an actual CD with just Hush Sound remixes, but there is a CD with a nearly identical remix available. It's called Ultra Rock, with remixes by Tommie Sunshine. I'm fairly certain that this song is originally off a soundtrack, possibly the Snakes on a Plane soundtrack.
