Piano Jazz instrumental

Ok here are all the clues i can provide:

This song(?) is played on the local oldies station (103.3 KLOU)
It could be just part of a whole song.
It is an instrumental, Piano, occasional horns, and repeating intermittent cowbell.
It sounds very similar to soulful strut, by Young and holt unlimited.
Piano jazz is the first thing that jumps to mind when i hear it.
The cowbell is very clear and and repetitive.
the whole thing is pretty much a simple repeated melody.
I thought it was related to classical Gas somehow but i do not think it is.


That is all the clues i can think of for now.

The cowbell is very prevalent. Think looping melody of piano, with cowbell accompaniment.

Have you tried calling the station? If it's actually played on the radio (even an oldies station), it means it must be at least slightly popular. Your clues might be something for them to actually go on, 'cause that's a toughie.

I had completely forgotten about that version of the song 'cause I'm so used to the Friends of Distinction version. Glad you found it!
