Need the name to this song..

Hey there,

I heard this song on the radio a little while ago but didn't catch who sang it.

It has male vocals and is very rock n' roll in style...the main catch though is around the middle of the song it sounds like a guitar is singing..."can you feel.......life or doom"???? The song was a live performance and the crowd was going wild everytime they heard that lyric.

Any help would be great
