The picture service is down, you can always just post the url to your picture in your signature or as your website on your profile.

gotcha thanks for the heads up...also are you guys the only ones that put the green check mark in the forum thread when it has been answered?

oops now upon opening my eyes I see the green check mark below is that what it is used for? Do I check then when I provide an answer in a reply?

Yeah I think Michelle goes back and puts the check mark in once it's been answered, but yeah it's basically for that.
