this isn't really a music question, just a commercial question. what/who is the talking gecko from the GEICO commercials supposed to be spoofing? he never used to talk like that. he's like trying to convert all the non-talking gecko's into insurance salesmen. i just don't get it.

I liked the old gecko - the new one sucks....I hate those commercials now, even if my car insurance provider is Geico.
