Im a newbie HEY!!! I thought I was the ONLY on FIXATED on THAT song!! Its been ringing in my head for weeks.

Has anyone found out anything yet? Maybe Ford has a number we could call and ask.

I wrote an email to Ford, and they actually responded. Bad news, its and inhouse song and not available to the public. Here's the email below, read 1st and 4th paragraphs...

I'm not sure if the song everyone is trying to find is the one mentioned in the last post (it's basically 2 guitar chords over an unchanging drum loop) but I was more interested in the other Ford Freestyle commercial, called "flexible" and also found at other post's link:

I think that's the one that at least some people were talking about. Also, I kind of doubt it's the White Stripes... it does sound highly reminiscent of Polvo or Polvo singer Ash Bowie's solo stuff to me though.

Hi, I have also been trying to find out the song in the Ford Freestyle ad "Flexible". I think it sounds like an old David Bowie song (but I know it's not) and it also sounds like The White Stripes (but I don't think it is). I thought I had read somewhere that it was commissioned just for the commercial, but I can't remember where I read it, so I'm asking here if anyone has found out about this song yet. I know from a previous post in this thread that one of the Freestyle commercials was commissioned, but not sure about "Flexible" which is the one that I really want to know about. Thanks for any help. B)
