This is from a new commercial for Extra Gum I just saw.

It starts out with a guy who chews a piece of gum, and the music fades in as the girl next to him starts to chew a piece.

The lyrics sound something like:

"Here comes the boss-man calling (calling), here comes the man right now (right now)"

It sounds sort of like Flogging Molly or Dropkick Murphys, just because the singer has an Irish accent I suppose.

"Bossman" by Lucky Boys Confusion

Get it at Amazon.

Here comes the bossman calling, calling
Here comes the man right now
Here comes the bossman calling, calling
Here comes the man right now
Here comes the bossman calling, calling
Here comes the man right now
Here comes the bossman calling, calling
Don’t let him bring you down

That's the one...too bad the rest of the song isn't as good as the chorus...

actually it's a song from a ska band called Lucky Boys Confusion. I've been a fan for a while now... that song is actually over 3 years old.

They're really a good group of musicians, check 'em out sometime.

Right. So...

Commercial shows a guy riding subway train. He checks out a female passenger or she checks him out, somebody pops a piece of gum, everyone dances like they've had ecstasy enemas. "Chewphoria" gets thrown on the screen. What's that tune?

Here is a link to the commercial if any of you have an account with these horrible people:
