    The Simpsons Season 22

When Lisa walks into the desert there is a piece of music, xylophone I think. Very familiar, but for the life of me I can't place it. Does anyone know what it is?

    Gears of War

"Mad World" is listed as "Album Only" at, which I believe means you can get the song if you buy the entire Donnie Darko soundtrack (for $9.99) at iTunes. [/b] To me that's the almost the same as the song not being available. In essence you are paying ten bucks for the one song you want.

    Gears of War

It's too bad that this song, like so many others in commercials, is not available on Napster or iTunes. I suspect some sort of exclusive rights are purchased for these commercials that keep them unavailable for purchase. iTunes has much of Gary Jules catalog except for his most famous song.

    Favorite Cartoon Theme Song?

None of the above. The greatest cartoon theme song of all time (IMO), drumroll please, was the theme for the original "Jonny Quest".

    Lord of War

It's "Money, that's what I want".... but which one? This is a female vocalist, it's kind of an odd version. It's hard to describe. Both Napter and iTunes have dozens of versions. Someone here will probably have the answer faster than it would take me to listen to several dozen soundbites.

    PSP Playstation Portable

If you like the song, check out the video now in rotation on MTV2 (I think) It's a mix of live action, stopmotion, cut out animation. Weird and cool at the same time. :)

    The Krays

Hey Blin, great work! I was curious as to how you tracked this one down. I contacted NBC at the time of that "Fear Factor" episode and never got an answer other than the usual form letters. Frankly I got a bit lazy and didn't persist. I even played it for a friend of mine who is a muscian...

    The Krays

I heard that too! I was about to change channels when that popped up. Finally a new lead to finding the name/composer of this tune.

    Medium Season 1

That's a nice theme, but the theme to "Millenium" is still one of my all time favorites.

    EuroTrip Song!

Bad news. I tried both iTunes and Napster and they don't have any of their songs. I did however find the official website: http://www.normahl.de/ Das ist Punk!

    The Krays

I thought of a guaranteed way to find the name and composer of this piece of music. 100% guaranteed. Take this music (even if you have to pull it from that old Kray's trailer)and use it in a very public and commercial way. A new trailer, tv commercial, what ever. Within days of it hitting...

    Celebrity Sightings

I've got a few more. I didn't mention them earlier since they were celebs that came through the animation studio I worked at and not celebs spotted out "in the wild", so to speak. Weird Al (went to lunch with him and half a dozen folks from work) Ray Harryhausen Rick Baker Chuck Jones Gus Van...

    Celebrity Sightings

I was looking for a parking spot in downtown Portland (Ore) years ago when these two slacker looking characters stepped in front of my car at the crosswalk. They looked kind of familiar. Actually I was kind of irritated since they were crossing against the light. Idiots. I circled the block...
