AMC Godfather

On AMC they've been showing The Godfather, along with TV spots for it. It's in the typical AMC style, they show brief clips of the Godfather and a quote from the movie. There's an almost foreign sounding hip hop song playing in the background, anyone know what it is?

The AMC channel has been showing a short promo featuring scenes from all the Godfather movies. Does anyone know the name of the song/piece that is playing ?
It is a classical piece, probably renaissance.

Just wanted to add, the promo is for an upcoming Godfather Thanksgiving marathon.

It does sound like Renaissance, but it may be early Baroque as well. It sounds like a lot like this work:

This is credited as a sinfonia in Claudio Monterverdi's "Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria" although a poster said the piece is actually the "sonata seconda" by Giovanni Battista Grillo. This was added music to I guess make the missing pieces more complete for Monteverdi's whole work.

If this isn't actually it, I hope it helps you find the actual piece and composer.
