XM Radio commercial

Its the commercial with Snoop Dogg and Ellen Degeneres for XM Radio, its a very short clip and hard to make out the lyrics, any ideas?

I found it, it is DJ, by David Bowie.

Hey, I'm looking for the artist or name of a song that appears in one of the XM Radio commercials. The commercial has Snoop Dog walking around some studio asking Ellen Degeneres and other people if they've seen his necklace. Right after he asks Ellen, he's looking on some soundstage where a woman and her band are singing a song. That's the point in question for me. I know I've heard the song before and know the artist but right now it totally escapes me. Can anybody help me with this?

if i remember this correctly from an older post it is dj by david bowie

No, that's not the song. If I'm not mistaken it's not an old song from the 80's or early/mid 90's. It was sung by the woman in the commercial, I just can't remember who she is or the name of the song.

Just bumping this to see if anybody else has any ideas because I still don't know. I sent an e-mail to XM but they didn't respond <_<

That song is "Independence Day" by Martina McBride.
